Summer 4: Sunshine City, Harajuku

We didn't do a whole lot on the 13th. Most of the day we hung around Ikebukuro. We went to Sunshine City which is a mall. There was some sort of Sanrio themed event going on. It looked cute.

We ate lunch at Becker's. It was really good. I had some sort of Turkey croissant and a french fry bowl. The fries had barbecue sauce, cheese, and bacon on them. :)

Later in the day we went to Harajuku. We went to a different street this time. The one we visited first (Takeshita) had a lot of cheap clothing stores. The area we went to this night (Omotesando) had a lot of expensive stores. The Swarovski store was really sparkly! :)

Well, not all the stores are super expensive. Kiddy Land is also there. It's full of cute character merchandise!

We spent quite a bit of time in a gift store. It was pretty touristy, but they did have a lot of nice things. It was strange to be in a store with almost all foreigners.

Here's a view of the street from the pedestrian bridge.

When we got back to the hotel we relaxed and enjoyed the awesomeness of Japanese television. Well, it's not usually very good, but we were entertained by various musical performances, including boy bands such as Arashi.
